Can a Brake Controller be Installed in a 2005 Chevy SSR

A brake controller can be installed in virtually any vehicle, but for your 2005 Chevy SSR there isn't a plug and play install harness available for it since it's not a vehicle that many would ever tow with.
You would need to first start with a 4-way harness to supply the trailer taillight functions if you don't have one already. For that you would want the part # 119250KIT.
From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the P3 part # 90195 brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.
