Why Does 2016 Acura MDX Call for 20 Amp Fuse But For Curt Trailer Wiring 10 Amp Fuse is Recommended
Published 07/01/2016 >
Question:
I have purchased this wiring harness for my 2016 MDX. The instructions state to put the mini 10 amp fuse in position 2, but the vehicle diagram calls for a 20 amp fuse here. Is the 10 amp ok to use?

I spoke with my contact at Curt and he said that you want to use the 10 amp fuse in the number 2 position on your fuse box. The factory Acura trailer wiring harness calls for a 20 amp fuse but with the Curt you have to use a 10 amp.
