Where to Find Stoplight Switch on 2007 Jeep Liberty for Brake Controller Install

Question:
Things went great with the brake controller install except the part about the brake stop light switch. It said it was over the brake pedal but I cant find it. I have a 2007 Jeep Liberty.

On your 2007 Jeep Liberty, If you are referring to the red wire on the brake controller, it attaches to the wire on the stoplight switch that carries a signal only when the brake pedal is pressed. You will need a circuit tester, like # PTW2993, to find this wire. Most likely it's going to be a white wire with a green or tan tracer. See attached install video.
Normally you can pretty easily test the wires on the pedal to figure out the correct one. Sometimes you end up having to use the third brake light circuit.
