Max Speed Rating for Pewag Snow Cables
Question:
What is the max recommended speed with these particular chains and can I run on bare asphalt? I ask because we get snow and ice in NC but you will run in and out of spots.

Expert Reply:
You cannot run tire chains on dry asphalt as that will wear them out incredibly quickly.
The maximum speed you can run the Pewag Cables part # PW1046 is 30-35 miles per hour.
