Question:
I have followed the alternative pairing method using a second vehicle, this pairs, however when then plugging into my Mercedes, the handheld displays n.c. Should it not display c ? will it work when it shows n.c ? I have tried really everything.

There can be a couple things wrong causing the nc code on your prodigy RF, part # TK94FR.
The first thing you want to do is set the gain knob on zero. If it flashes with a 00 on the display, the vehicle is paired, and there is a problem with the wiring on the trailer. Check for corrosion, broken wires or bad grounds and repair as needed.
If it does not flash 00 then there may be a bad fuse or relay on the vehicle. You can check those out and replace as needed.
