Troubleshooting 2015 Honda Pilot that Won't Start After Trailer Wiring Install
Question:
Installed everything according to instructions, AND now car wont start. Double checked it was installed according to instructions, and car still wont start. Removed everything, and car wont start! What happened, an how do I fix it? Battery is fine, and started turns over fine

If your 2015 Honda Pilot is cranking but won't fire up after you installed the Tow Ready Wiring Harness part # 118558 most likely the problem is fuse or relay related. Since the harness requires the installation of a few relays I would double check that you have relays installed in the right spots of your relay/fuse box. It sounds like maybe the fuel pump relay isn't installed in the vehicle and that is preventing the vehicle from starting or it is also possible that the relay has gone bad.
Check the diagram of the fuse panel and look for the fuel pump relay and make sure a relay is installed in this slot. If there is one try switching a known working relay in it's spot so that you can determine if the relay is at fault. The easiest way to determine if a relay is bad is to swap in a known working relay. Other than that check all ignition related fuses as it sounds like one could have shorted out during the install. Did you remove the negative battery terminal before installing the harness? The reason that is recommended is to prevent shorts like this.
