Question:
How to use the Erickson Multiplier Rachet? The instruction are not very clear, especially how to place it into neutral so you can advance or retract the webbing. Any video showing its usage?

The operation of the Erickson Tie-Downs with the Multiplier Ratchet like part # EM58511.
I have attached a video that shows how the tie-down is used to tighten and also release the tension. You can check out the attached photo of the Multiplier Ratchet with some of the features pointed out. The release lever is pulled up to disengage the ratcheting handle. As the video shows, to lock it in position after tightening you would pull the release lever and move the handle down until it is parallel to the straps.
When you want to release the straps, you can move the handle until it is straight up at a 90 degree angle from the straps and either pull the straps or use the knob on the side to turn and let the strap out in a more controlled manner.
