Question:
Is there any way I can make these work on my truck? I have a 1800lb camper, and dont want to use the version that installs into the stake. Also, Im not interested in the TorkLifts because of the price. Thanks for your help.

We don't have a lot of specific fit information for the Brophy Tie-Downs part # HSSF that you referenced, but we do know that they can't be installed on a 2004-2008 Ford F-150.
The best option I can make for you would be the # TDSF that installs in the stake pockets.
You will also want the hardware kit part # TDHP.
