How do u know if u have a 2inch hitch? I just purchased my jeep liberty and it came with the hitch new

All you have to do is measure the hitch opening left to right or top to bottom, it doesn't matter. Don't measure the outside of the hitch, just the opening. Take a look at the picture I have included.
Whether you Jeep Liberty factory hitch is a 1-1/4 inch or a 2 inch, the bike rack # TH9058 would fit just fine.
Also check the hitch for a sticker that lists what Class it is and/or the capacity. If it is a Class I or has a tongue weight capacity of 200 pounds or less then you have to use a Class I compatible bike carrier and you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch.
