Recommended Trailer Hitch for a 2017 Ford Escape (All Models)
Question:
I have a 2006 Ford Escape Limited 3.0L I had a 2 inch hitch added a few years ago now I bought a 2017 Ford Escape Titanium. My question is will the hitch from the 2006 fit the 2017 safely if not which one should I purchase and is it possible for me to do a self install with your hitches?

The trailer hitch I recommend for a 2017 Ford Escape (All Models) is the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75782 which is a direct bolt-on fit with no drilling required. Therefore, you can easily install this hitch by yourself at home with just basic hand tools. I like the Draw-Tite hitch as it works with the hands free lift gate feature (if equipped) and it has an integrated trailer connector mounting bracket along with a hidden design for the best look overall. I have attached an install video for you below as well.
The trailer hitch for a 2006 Ford Escape will not work.
