is there a custom rail kit offered for a 96 ford f-250 with an 8 foot bed ?

At this time the only install kits available for the 1996 Ford F-250 with 8 foot bed are the universal installation kits like the Reese Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit, item # RP30035.
Installation of this style kit takes a bit longer and requires more drilling, but once the initial installation is complete, the rails are there whenever needed. I would not let the universal kit stop me from installing a fifth-wheel rail kit on a vehicle like the 1996 F-250 with 8 foot bed.
I have included a link to the installation instructions and a video for you to review below.
