Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this K Source replacement driver's side electric custom flip out towing mirror, with the heat, the turn signal, and the puddle lamp functions. This is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2012 to 2014 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks. And the 2013 to 2018 Ram, 1500, 2500 and 3500 trucks.

And on a custom fit part like this, I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, it'll show if this will work for your application. Now this side view mirror is a direct replacement for the factory original driver's side towing mirror with the power move operation. Now, the power move capability on this mirror will adjust the mirror face position, with the factory power controls inside your vehicle. And it offers the power folding feature, which will fold the entire mirror housing towards your vehicle for easy parking, or maneuvering in tight spaces. It does offer the heated mirror glass, which will clear frosts and ice, and reduce fogging.

And if you will notice on the back corner here, right here, it offers an amber light, which will flash when the turn signal is activated. And we also mention at the very bottom, if you notice, you can see puddle lamp right here. Now this is a flip out towing mirror, which will replace your OEM passenger side view mirror, and provides the extended view needed for safe towing. It'll let you change lanes, merge, and pass other cars with confidence, even with the trailer in tow. The flip out head portion here on this custom mirror can be rotated out, to give you an extended field of vision for towing.

All you have to do is basically flip it out, just like that. And it gives you the extended length. And then when you're done or not using it, just go ahead and push it right back in, for regular use. Now, the overall length of this when it's rotated in, like it is now, is about 20 and three quarter inches. When you do rotate it out, like that, it's going to be about 24 and a half inches.

Now they do use the OE grade convex glass, with first surface plating, which will reflect sharp images, provides a nice superior range of vision. The front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome. And it is a convex mirror, which makes the reflections appear smaller than with a flat mirror, and allows you to see more and reduce the blind spots. It is in a nice durable plastic housing, with a textured black finish. And it is an easy no-drill installation. It has the same footprints and mounting points as your factory mirror. And you can see, it will plug into your existing electrical wiring. Now this part will replace the original equipment part number, 682858758D. And it is for a quantity of one driver's side mirror. One last note I do want to mention, is that the power remote capability, the heated glass, the LED turn signal, and the puddle lamp, will work only if your vehicle already has those functions.
