Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System for Air Helper Springs - Remote - Bluetooth - Single Path - AL25980

Average Customer Rating:  4.8 out of 5 stars   (117 Customer Reviews)

Product arrived as advertised. Installation took about 4 hours, but at my age takes a little extra time to crawl around and run lines, etc. I installed the pump and control box on left side of cargo box on a 2019 Chevy 2500HD Duramax. Controls work as described. I run 10 psi to maintain bag pressure and at 45 psi when hooked up to our 5th wheel keeping the truck and camper nice and level. Great product for the price. I like having the remote control as I can increase/decrease pressure as needed when hooking up to camper.

All of our company trucks have been equipped with the Airlift Systems. We use them weekly and they are performing flawlessly. We could not do what we do without the assistance which the airbags provide due to heavy tongue weight. Customer service receives 5 Stars as well!

This compressor is the second one I have owned and I have loved every minute of it. It makes it so easy to inflate you air bags using the remote control for the compressor. I pull a 17,000 lb toy hauler with my 2013 Ram 2500 and this allows me to perfectly select and maintain the pressure needed in the bags to help keep sag out of the truck and provide more stability. The installation of the system was relatively easy when following the instructions. Lastly I would like to give etrailer.com a shout out for good products and reasonable prices. Thanks again!!!!!!

Excellent customer service as usual. Ordered this system and received it in five days. My installation is some what different than most, I mounted all the components on a 3” piece of metal plate and bolted it between two cross members under the bed in front of the spare tire, if I ever need to replace a component just drop the spare and it is a snap. Will be using this compressor for two different trailers a 35’ 5th wheel and a 24’ enclosed car trailer.

- AL25980
by:

Awesome product fairly easy to install. Noticed a big difference when towing vehicle feels great and handling was improved. Vehicle would squat when towing a 25 foot trailer now sits leveled and has a firm ride.

- AL25980
by:

Works good. I used this to take the toll from my 5th wheel causing the truck to bounce from certain bumps. This greatly helped. This unit then gives you the freedom to let the air back out so it isn't so firm of a ride after unhooking.

I went to extraordinary lengths for a sanitary installation on a 2017 Tundra. After much deliberation I mounted the compressor and control module on the front inside wall of my bed. It's a bit annoying to not have weatherproof units for a design like this. The instructions call out concern for getting the connections out of wet areas. That's fine, except you have to be conscious of the BT signal path. This could be a better unit with more thought. The BIG complaint is the compressor noise. You can wake the dead with this thing, and it might go off at an inappropriate time due to temperature change or bleed off. It does what it's supposed to do, and it's a joy to be able to adjust on the fly. I pull an assortment of trailers from 18' flatbed equipment to 28' enclosed car trailer, and they all require a different pressure. I'd probably still buy it again, but there's room for design improvement.

- AL25980
by:

Works great. Love the remote so I can see the truck as I raise the rear end. Not sure I like the app. Good idea, but with the remote, not really necessary.

Lifts work great. Glad I had it professionally installed as I do not have that expertise.

Ordered and installed the wireless one compressor on a 2015 Ram 3500, with 7.5k air lift airbags. Thought I ordered the EZ model, but went about installing this set up instead. Straight forward install with (mostly) top quality components. Push connect airlines are a breeze. Two criticisms: electrical connectors supplied should be higher quality and properly sized for terminal connections, and time requirement to complete a tight install was closer to 6 hours including the bags. Absolutely no pairing issues. I am a long time customer of etrailer, and will continue to be. Love those midwestern values! Thanks again.

- AL25980
by:

Great product. Would recommend to buy. Easy to install. Put mine under the back seat.

- AL25980
by:

Love it, easy install, don't have to run anything in the cab of the truck.

- AL25980
by:

Money well spent!! the Air Lift WirelessONE system has been a great addition for pulling our 5th wheel RV. It's great to monitor and adjust pressure going down the road. eTrailer folks were professional and helped in our decision and a big shout out to the staff. I will continue to buy here.

- AL25980
by:

Very happy with this purchase! Install was easy and the product seems to be of high quality. I install in conjunction with a air lift airbag system for my truck. It's nice to be able to control the amount of air in the bags from inside the cab...even while going down the road and not having to search for a gas station with air, or using a compressor at home. Also, with this kit there is NOTHING installed inside the truck other than the wireless remote which is approx. the same size a garage door opener.

- AL25980
by:

The most time consuming part of the install was trying to determine the correct location for mounting the compressor and controller. Once those were installed, the rest was pretty easy. The electrical install could be improved by providing a micro fuse tap adapter. The kit provided plenty of wire and tubing for install. The compressor seems to work well but I haven't tested it thoroughly. I enjoy doing business with e-trailer. Their shipping and delivery are fast and their website is full of useful videos and suggestions. I would rate them five stars.

- AL25980
by:

The Airlift compressor/remote arrived on time and the install went fine. The videos are extremely helpful and so much better than the installation manual. Some great tips for placement of the compressor, the relay, etc. One tip on the compressor: Attach the airline to the compressor before setting the compressor in place. So much easier to work with the hose. If you are installing in a vehicle equipped with airlift shocks you'll need a third "T" fitting. You only get two with the kit. Great option and great service from etrailer.

- AL25980
by:

Being able to adjust the air spring preasure for ride comfort while on the move is a big bonus.

- AL25980
by:

This system was exactly what I needed to provide extra support and lift when towing my toy hauler fifth wheel. The installation was very straight forward using the instructions provided. The most difficult part was just deciding where to mount the unit on the truck.

- AL25980
by:

Easy to install instruction easy to fol low

- AL25980
by:

So far so good. I have had it installed about a week now. The install was straight forward. The toughest part was figuring out where to mount everything. The kit comes with enough wiring and air lines for a full-size truck, I had about 5’ extra wire and airline.

- AL25980
by:

The set up has worked and continues to work wonderfully!

- AL25980
by:

1 year in and I still love this kit. The phone app is typically what I use to control them and it’s very Easy. The only problem is that I didn’t install it sooner!

- AL25980
by:

Very easy to install and took only about 30 minutes after the installation of the air bags. Works great.

- AL25980
by:

Great set up. Only downfall is the compressor failed just the other day. Piston broke apart but other than that no complaints.

- AL25980
by:

Excellent compressor and automatic remote controlled airbag system

  • Will the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System Work In Cold Climates
The Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System part # AL25980 will work just fine in very cold climates. However, you will need to either install the system inside the cab of the vehicle or install the system outside the cab and simply use some air brake anti-freeze when winter rolls around which is the option I recommend. I know Air Lift does extensive testing in colder climates so you should not have any issues with durability/longevity. I have attached a photo for you which further explains...

  • Troubleshooting BL-OC Error Code on Air Lift Wireless Compressor System 25870
The BL-OC error code that you're getting with your Air Lift Wireless Compressor System can indicate a bad relay or manifold but it could also be caused by something simpler (and cheaper). This particular error code essentially means that something is preventing an air spring from being inflated or deflated. Most of the time this is caused by some kind of blockage in the air lines. Since you've already ruled out the relay as being the issue I recommend tracing the air line from the compressor...

The additional connectors that you will need are included with the kit so you will have everything that you need. I have attached a photo of the connection for you as well. • How Does Air Lift Load Lifter with Steel Braided Cables Connect to Compressor Kit
When adding a compressor system like the WirelessONE # AL25980 to your Air Lift LoadLIfter 5000 that feature the braided stainless steel lines you will need to use the included AN to PTC adapter fitting. This fitting will then connect to the nylon air lines that go to the compressor. So the good news is that you already have the adapter you need. I have attached an image from the installation manual that clarifies this. For a union tee you'd want the part # AL21838.

We do not sell the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System part # AL25980 separately from the compressor. However, you should have no issue using the wireless inflation valves and remote with any brand of compressor or tank as the principal will be the same. You will however need to more than likely buy new fittings to combine the wireless remote and inflation valves to a different tank/compressor.

Towing a 5th wheel trailer can definitely put strain on the rear of any truck, even one as robust as your 2021 Ram 2500, so suspension enhancement is always recommended.
