The Edge Insight CS2 is the only gauge display you'll ever need for your vehicle. With some of the most advanced technology in the engine-monitoring field, the Insight can keep track of vital data, as well as record performance times, sound user-selected alerts and run and clear diagnostic trouble codes. All of this information and more is displayed on a 2.4", high-resolution, color screen that can show up to 8 parameters at a time to keep you fully informed of your engine's activity.

The Insight can only display data and is not able to adjust or tune your engine itself. It can, however, be used with Edge or other performance chips and programmers to track and monitor your newly tuned engine.

Customizable Display and Background

The Insight CS2 lets you choose from multiple gauge displays. The master gauge screen allows you to monitor 5 parameters (PIDs) at once. You also have the option to switch the layout to display digital gauges, retro-style gauge clusters, or classic needle-style monitoring.

For a deeper level of customization, look no further than the color mixer screen. This screen gives you the ability to custom mix any color to personalize the gauges or background. You can change the gauge arc colors, tint the whole screen, and more.

The free, downloadable MyStyle software kit included with your purchase lets you customize the background of the Insight's color touch screen. Choose from a variety of stock images or upload your own picture for a unique look. The MyStyle software kit also allows you to download your last 10 data logs to your Windows-based computer.

Performance Testing and Monitoring

To ensure that you are getting the most out of your engine, the Insight comes with a variety of performance-related tests. You can test basic parameters like horsepower and torque ouput, or you can measure your acceleration with the 0-60 and quarter-mile tests. Not only can you run these tests, but you can also save the results for future reference or to monitor your progress. This data logging software can also track a broad range of parameters or choose to monitor certain things like engine temperature, transmission temperature, rpm, boost, and more.

Because performance goes hand in hand with safety, the Insight has a data logging feature that can track and monitor general engine parameters on a daily drive, or fine-tune your track run. Knowing how your engine is performing will help you to prolong the life of your vehicle and safely recognize its limits.

Maintenance Manager and Mileage Coach

With Edge's free Maintenance Manager download, keeping track of your vehicle's maintenance schedule has never been easier. Simply create a list of the tasks you want to manage, such as replacing your oil or air filter, then set alerts to remind you when those services are due. Customize your list of services, set the intervals you desire, and monitor your newly organized schedule with the easy-to-read, easy-to-navigate display.

Edge's Mileage Coach App is designed to help you achieve better fuel economy. Switch on the Coach to view information from various parameters that will give you an indication of how your driving habits affect your fuel economy and overall engine performance. Monitor real-time gas usage, displayed in either gallons per hour or liters per 100 kilometers. Enter the current price of gas to determine the cost of your trip or your overall fuel costs.

The Mileage Coach gauge indicates your overall engine performance and fuel economy. This analog gauge has 3 different colors to show where your driving habits and fuel economy are at a glance. Red denotes poor driving performance. Yellow signals fair performance. And green indicates good driving habits. The leaf imagery in the background will shift its color to give you a simple visual reference. For example, the leaves will change to red if your fuel economy falls below your calculated average MPG. There is also an indicator bar that will shift from green to red for a more traditional visual indicator.

In addition to monitoring your driving performance, the Mileage Coach also offers tips to make you a more conscientious driver, thus enhancing your fuel economy by improving your driving skills.
