Hello neighbors, It's Brad here at etrailer. And today we're taking a look at the Rampage Round Nerf Bars. Now, these are gonna be available in three different colors. Here we have our textured black. It's also available in glossy black as well as a polished stainless. Now this is going to fit a large variety of Wranglers.
So all the way back from 87 to 2018 and it can also have the option to get the bars for a Unlimited. So it'll extend it out for those four doors. So it's important to use our fit guide, to make sure that you get the proper Nerf Bars for your Wrangler. Jeeps are fantastic for outdoor excursions, off-roading, and part of that really comes down to the ground clearance that they have as well as the approach angles. So with that comes a high ground clearance, but also a high step into the vehicle.
So for me, it's not too big of a problem to hop in without having to step up, but it is kind of awkward. And for anyone shorter, having that step here to get into the Jeep is gonna make it a lot easier. Along with that, it also looks really good. And while it's not rock sliders, per se it's gonna give you a little bit of added protection from making damage with your body if you do take it off-roading. The round tube design is three inches in diameter and you're gonna see it has a nice curved edge on both sides.
And it is offset with our grip pad here. And this is gonna help you from not slipping when you step in and out even if you have wet or muddy feet. Now it is side specific. Like I said, it is set back here, but it really puts it in a nice position. You still get the aesthetic of the Nerf Bars themselves.
And overall, it's a great construction. It's actually steel, but as I picked them up it's relatively light weight and that's because it is hollow. But overall, the installation of them is extremely easy. So our neighbor here had some previous Nerf Bars and being in the Midwest the wintertime salt actually kind of corroded those out. And so it was a good time to up upgrade. So even if you're upgrading your old one or you just want to add them to your existing Wrangler these are gonna be available from a wide range all the way back to 87, up to 2018. They're also gonna be available for the Unlimited as the Nerf Bar is gonna be longer, obviously, for those four doors. So again, make sure you use our fit guide to make sure that you have the proper fit. The installation of this is gonna be really easy. It bolts to the actual mounts where the body attaches to the frame and you're gonna be using those existing bolts. And then it comes with the extra hardware to mount up the brackets that actually fit up in there. So pretty easy, 10 to 15 minutes as long as you don't run into any bolts that give you some trouble. But it's a quick, easy upgrade. And every time you hop in your Jeep you're gonna have a sure foot on the non-slip surface to get in and out. And every time you hop in your Jeep you're gonna thank yourself for having some Nerf bars on there. And that was a look at the Rampage Nerf Bars for a Jeep Wrangler..
