Today on our 2016 GMC Yukon, we're doing a test fit of the Inno Wedge 660 Roof-Top Cargo Box. That part number is INBRM660BK. This is also available in white, as well as the black that you see here. It's going to have 11 cubit feet of space. Now, we already have it mostly secured down. We just have to secure down the front part.



Curt Roof Basket Review - 2016 GMC Yukon

Today on our 2016 GMC Yukon we're doing a test fit of the Curt roof-mounted cargo basket. That part number is C18115. This is 41 1/2 inches long by 37 inches wide by four inches deep and has 150 pound weight capacity. Now keep in mind that you do want to check your vehicle's owner's manual before, making sure that your vehicle can withstand that much weight. Now we already have three of our four mounts secured down. We've got our spacer for the back mount.



Rhino Rack Roof Basket Review - 2016 GMC Yukon

Today, on our 2016 GMC Yukon, we're going a test of the Rhino Rack Roof-mounted cargo basket. That part number is RMCV. This is 47 inches long by 35 inches wide and has a 155 pound weight capacity. We already have three of our four mounts secured in place. We are going to show you our last one here. We already have our spacer brackets in between. In between our cross bar and the bars of our carrier, we have this plastic bracket.



Thule Roof Basket Review - 2016 GMC Yukon

Today on our 2016 GMC Yukon we're doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon XT roof-mounted cargo basket. That part number is TH859XT. Now this is 49 inches long by 40 inches wide by six inches deep and has a 150 pound weight capacity. We already have three of our four mounts secured down. We've got all of our brackets in place. To adjust our brackets we used our included tool, and we loosened up the two bolts on the inside there.



MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 GMC Yukon

Today at our 2016 GMC Yukon we are doing a test to it of the MaxxTow of thirty by fifty wheelchair carrier with forty-eight inch long ramp. That part number is MT70106 and this has a five hundred pound weight capacity. We've already got it in our first position here. This is going to be our loading position, which will be great for any time you're loading a wheelchair, scooter, or any type of yard equipment or anything like that onto your carrier. It's going to be much easier than trying to load it on a regular carrier that has the four walls all the way around. It's easy to push it up onto our carrier using that ramp here. So, this is our first of four positions. We're going to show you each of them today.



MaxxTow Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 GMC Yukon MT70260

Today, on our 2016 GMC Yukon, we're doing a test fit of the MaxTow 30 by 50 wheelchair carrier. This has a 60-inch-long ramp and has a weight capacity of 500 pounds. The part number for that is MT70260. Now, we already have it here in our first position. We've got 2 other positions, 3 in total, besides this one. This is going to be great for when you're wanting to load up your gear, whether that is a wheelchair, or a lawnmower, or any type of other equipment like that, or a snow blower.



Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 GMC Yukon

Today on our 2016 GMC Yukon, we're doing a test fit of the Curt 24x60 Cargo Carrier. That part number is C18152. This is designed to work with 2" hitches and has a weight capacity of 500 pounds. We already have this installed here. We're going to take a few measurements and go over some features. Starting off with our ground clearance, we're going to have about 24-3/4" of ground clearance. Overall to our vehicle, we've got about 34-1/4", an then our closest point we're going to have about 8-3/4". Now, on our Yukon, we do have a single passenger-side exhaust under here.



Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 GMC Yukon C18110

Today on our 2016 GMC Yukon we're doing a test fit of the CURT 20 by 48 cargo carrier. That part number is C18110. Now this is designed to work with 1-1/4" and 2" hitches and has a weight capacity of 300 pounds. Although it does have a pretty high weight capacity, it is lightweight so it's easy to insert and take out of our hitch. We've already got this installed here. We're going to start off with a few measurements.



Surco Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 GMC Yukon

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon, we'll be test fitting the Surco 24" x 60" cargo carrier for 2" hitches, part number 52018. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the cargo carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. We'll line up the pin hole, and install our pin and clip. Now we'll go over some clearance measurements. We have about 22" of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of our Yukon is about 3".



Rola Dart Folding Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 GMC Yukon

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon, we'll be test fitting the 23x56 Rola Dart Cargo Carrier for 2-inch hitches, part number 59550. To begin our test fit, we'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch. Line up the pin hole and thread in our anti-rattle bolt, tightening it with a wrench. Now, we'll go over some clearance measurements. With the cargo carrier in this position, we have about 22 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of our vehicle is about 2 inches, and we've added about 13 inches to the overall length of our Yukon.



Pro Series Solo Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 GMC Yukon

Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon well be testing the 32 by 48 Pro Series Solo steel cargo carrier for 2 hitches, part number PS1040100. To begin our test fit well slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch, line up the pin holes and install our pin and clips. Now well go over a few clearance measurements. We have about 25 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of our Yukon is about nine inches. Weve added about 41 inches to the overall length of our GMC Yukon.

We'll pull the pin and clip here at the rear of the shank and move our carrier to the folded position. Now we'll go over some clearance measurements. We have about 20-1/2" of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of our Yukon is about 1-1/2".

Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box Installation - 2011 GMC Yukon

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. Today we are taking a look at our Thule Motion XT Extra Extra Large Rooftop Cargo Box and seeing how it fits here on our large 2011 GMC Yukon. This is a big vehicle with a lot of cargo space, but sometimes even that is not enough or maybe you need to carry around some things that you don't want on the interior of your vehicle, like your skis and your snowboards. Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Yakima GrandTour 18 cubic feet rooftop cargo box. We'll take a look at how it fits our 2011 GMC Yukon. Your Yukon is a big vehicle with a lot of cargo space. But depending on your different adventures, if you have this loaded up with friends, with family, and you're also carrying around cargo that might not fit in the leftover cargo space, you might need more cargo space, or you're carrying around things like skis and snowboards that need a longer box for it to fit in, then a rooftop cargo box like the GrandTour can come in handy. This is gonna be a longer, more low-profile, sleek box, ideal for that longer cargo, and we'll talk about how it fits this car. This is going to be a 91-inch long box which is definitely on the longer side for rooftop boxes.



Yakima SkyBox NX 18 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2011 GMC Yukon

Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at how the Yakima Sky Box NX18 roof cargo box fits on our 2011 GMC Yukon. The NX18 is a good pairing for the Yukon because it's a big box for a big car. So this is very versatile where you have a lot of height for larger bags and suitcases. We also have a lot of length for your longer skis. With this being the 18, it's a larger box in the Sky Box NX series and it's a good fit for the Yukon as well with the length because I didn't have to do anything special but we still have clearance with the back hatch and a lot of space up front.

It's made from a sturdy aluminum, and at the front and rear we have these 2 points here which can be used as tie down points for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. Want to go ahead and give you some measurements now. Measuring from the bumper to the outer edge here, we've added about 29 inches to the rear of the vehicle. Our ground clearance is going to be about 22 1/2 inches.



Carpod Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2010 GMC Yukon

Today on this 2010 GMC Yukon, we're going to be test fitting the 23 x 47 Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier, part number M2205. This cargo carrier has a carrying capacity of 450 pounds. It has this grated area and walls, which makes it easy to clean, and it keeps all your items safely secured inside these 4 walls. Now, I'm going to go ahead and give you some quick measurements here. As far as the height of the walls is concerned, that's going to be about 22 inches from the grated floor here. Measuring from the bumper to this edge here, we've added about 35-1/2 inches or so. Then, from this point here to the ground, it's going to be about 27-1/2 inches, and as far as our closest point, which will be the edge here, that's going to be about 13 inches from the bumper. Now, the exhaust is going to be on the passenger side and face away from the cargo carrier, so you don't have to worry too much about any heat-sensitive material when you're hauling it.



Stromberg Carlson Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2010 GMC Yukon

Today on this 2010 GMC Yukon we're going to be test fitting the 23x60 Stromberg Carlson Cargo Carrier, part number CC-100. This has a carrying capacity of 500 pounds, has a mesh floor which makes it easy to clean, and also has these points around the cargo carrier which you can use as tie-downs for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. At the front here, you'll see there's places here where you can actually attach lights or reflectors if you'd like. Also if you're going to be blocking off your license plate, there is a mount here to re-attach it should you need to. I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements. Measuring from the bumper to the outer edge here, that's going to be about 29 inches. Our ground clearance is going to be about 20 inches.

Today on this 2010 GMC Yukon, we're going to be test fitting the 20x60 Curt cargo carrier, Part Number C18151. This has a carrying capacity of 500 pounds. It has this mesh floor in the bottom which makes it easy to clean, and it also has this rail all the way around the cargo carrier which can serve as a tie down point for either your ratchet straps or your bungee cords. I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements now. Measuring from the bumper to our outer edge here, we have added about 35 inches to the rear of our vehicle. The ground clearance is going to be about 22 inches. Our closest point to this rail here is going to be about 14 inches. The exhaust on this vehicle is going to be on the passenger side and it's actually going to face away from the cargo carrier, so you don't have to worry too much about any heat sensitive material when you're loading that up. Right now we do have access to our rear hatch.
