24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
The rack is much bigger than my previous one. I was disappointed that it was made in China instead of the USA. It assembled very easily and the light kit works very well. The only draw back is I can no longer open my tailgate with the rack installed due to the spare tire hitting the raised rack.
Purchased in March 2023. I really like the size, it holds a lot. The carrier is very sturdy, well made and assembled very easily. I purchased the light kit but found wiring could have been a little longer to dress the cables neatly down toward the hitch.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 64-1/2" Long x 39" Wide x 7-1/4" Tall - 150 lbs
I love the rack and the extended length is great on my Sequoia. I am disappointed with the finish on it as the connector plates are already showing signs of rust….. I like it enough that I’m going to repaint it with something more suited to our climate…
The rack and extension arrived in sturdy boxes, well packed and no damage in shipping. The parts fit together easily. The welds left something to be desired, which is why I gave it only 4 stars. As a precaution against corrosion,I got some plasti-dip, which is a rubberized vinyl sealant and sealed all the places where moisture could get into the various tubes of the rack. I was satisfied with the quality of the powder coating on all the parts. The mounting system to the roof rack is interesting and appears well-designed. The assembly and installation instructions are OK, but could have been written better. For example, there is an extra tightening knob for the U-bolts, but no description if it is there as a spare.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
I am very pleased with the quality for the price.Just the right size for my 2017 Chevy Trax.the "U" bolts that are used to clamp the basket to the roof cross bars were a bit long so I cut them shorter & installed rubber caps on top of each stud. This keeps the studs from damaging items in the bssket.See pictures.
The reason I bought this basket is due to gas prices. I have a 4X4 suburban I use for camping and hunting but it takes a small loan to fill up the tank. Actually this basket cost less than it does to fill it up. So my thought was if i can get all my gear on my daily driver then i could save some money and maybe even sale the burb. So i gave it a shot last weekend. The rack was easy to put together. I had it out of the box and on the roof in under 30 minutes. As you can see in the pic, i have a rather large ice chest, chain saw, 6 man tent, gas stove and my chair on the roof. My camping destination was about 3 hours away. First was a hour of highway driving at speeds around 70. No issues there. Then 2 hours of windy back roads. No issues there either. The basket made it possible for me and my two kids to load up in the car and head to the hills for three days. The plus for me was it only takes 50$ to fill up the car. :-) I had the max weight in this basket with no issues. I'm very happy with this basket.

19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - Folding - 500 lbs
Purchased this 1 year ago. Worked awesome for a 9.000 mile cross country trip with three off road adventures at geology tour road Joshua tree, west side road Death Valley, and kingman wash lake mead. No rattle, always secure, great clearance. Would purchase again.
It works, but I only put two electric bikes on it. The mesh seems to bend pretty easy.

24x60 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
We just installed our carrier. We love that this is going to free up a lot of space for our vacation traveling. Very heavy duty and bigger than i was thinking it would be.The pin that holds the carrier in the hitch was not included. It would have been an added bonus if it was.
Easy to assemble, nice and solid cargo tray! Bought it with the hitch bracket. Note: no hitch pin included.

20x59 Curt Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Folding - 500 lbs
Installation: Easy Assembly: Easy Attached to: Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" Item # C13163 Use: Camping equipment. Cooler, Chairs, Sleeping bags, firewood, etc. Like: The fact that it folds is a huge positive. What I would change: perhaps adding a ring or two on the sides to allow for bungee cords or rope. Because the hitch is already a bit low on the 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander (stock wheels, tires, suspension) the back part of the basket can bottom out rather easily. It has nothing to do with the carrier itself though. I would definitely recommend this product! I'm going to use it again in a month for our next camping trip.
This carrier was super easy to assemble. It is a bit heavy but I was able to mount it onto my hitch alone. I’m using an anti-rattle lock and they work great together.

Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 22 cu ft - Black Glossy
We love our Thule rooftop box. It's a great accessory to our Honda Pilot, and made our frequent skiing & camping trips a lot easier. Quality is superb. For its size, it's actually relatively easy to mount (takes two people to lift it up). Loading/unloading requires standing on the frame of the car and is also easier with two people.
So I just received my 22cuft Thule rooftop carrier and it arrived somewhat damage free. The edges of the box where the nose and rear of the carrier were packaged very well with extra material. The center of the box was smashed and had several holes. I know the holes are not e trailer fault but actually the shipping company that sends it across the country. There was a removable plastic film on the carrier that I think helped a lot and kept the unit from being scratched. One area on the back lifted and now I have a small area that I need to wax and buff because it was scratched from the box. Overall I knew the risk in shipping an 8 foot box and just took the gamble. Overall it turned out ok. I placed the carrier on my 22 kia telluride with factory bars. It fit perfect. The locking system worked and was secure to the bars on the roof. Both sides of this 22 cu ft carrier opened flawlessly and there is going to be plenty of room to place luggage inside. I’m glad I went with the 22 because I think I would have wanted a bigger one if I got the 18. My issues are not skis and tents but actual luggage when we all travel so the extra room is great. Have not traveled with it yet and if I have issues after the first trip I will edit this review. So far I am satisfied with this purchase, etrailer and this product.

23x47 Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier w/ Lid - 2" Hitches - Steel - 450 lbs
arrived on time. assembled the cage looks and fits good will take pictures next week
The Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier arrived quickly and functioned as advertised. Just what I needed for a week-long cross-country roadtrip. However, after driving through rain on a few different days, the carrier began to rust and is now rusted in multiple locations around the carrier.

Perfect for road trips. Somewhat easy install with platform stand.

Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 44" Long x 39" Wide
Well done Yakima and etrailer. Great product and great service. The product is well made (in Taiwan....not China) and the parts and instruction video made it relatively" easy to install. Two people helps to install it more readily. The wind diffuser in the front greatly reduces wind noise. All in all very happy and glad I bought through etrailer. Service was excellent and delivery prompt.
I am very happy with both the initial quality of the Load Warrior and how nice the eTrailer people are to deal with... The product seems well thought out and there are a bunch of accessories to mount most anything...

24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding - 500 lbs
Super disappointed in this etrailer purchase. The product came in a large box that was fully intact and not damaged. The actual cargo basket was meticulously wrapped and appeared to be brand new as expected. The other components however, like the arm, were in boxes that were smashed, old, worn, and had multiple layers of old tape. The arm itself was scratched and banged up, even rusty in spots. Clearly it was used or had been a returned item. If I wanted a dented, gouged, and rusty Cargo Carrier I would have purchased one used, for half the price. This is not the quality I expect from etrailer.. I have purchased many racks and other items from this company and usually the quality is outstanding. This time they dropped the ball. I have since read other reviews and it is apparent that this is not an isolated incident. I'd have sent it back if it wasn't so damn heavy and awkward to lug around.
This carrier worked out great. The tilt down feature is helpful to have but I didn't really need it. However, the fold up feature was helpful when driving around, so I recommend that as a convenience. The only thing I had trouble with was the hitch bolt. I have a Thule bike rack that I've used with my truck hitch receiver and never had a problem, but this rack's hitch bolt was a real pain to get in at first. Don't be dismayed. With the rack off of the vehicle, I used some WD-40 and some lithium grease on the bolt and then used an adjustable wrench to screw it in and out a number of times. I noticed a bunch of either paint or metal shards gumming up the threads on the bolt each time I removed it. After about 5 times of screwing it in and out, wiping off the bolt with a towel, adding some more grease once in a while, it got to the point that I could screw it in and out by hand pretty easily. Problem solved. I'm really happy with this rack. It fit two big coolers of food and beer plus beach umbrellas and other stuff. It's really strong and sturdy. The biggest issue was not the weight on the rack, but whether the rear suspension on the Highlander could hold it with our other junk in the back plus passengers. :-)

17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
I've been using this Cargo Carrier on my 4 Runner Venture for about a year now. I Purchased this item to haul extra gear to Nags Head from Northwestern Virginia. Installation was a breeze and it's very, very sturdy. I had two Yeti coolers packed with ice and drinks and there was no wobbling at all. I'm a 197 pounds and I was standing on it after I installed it just to check for durability and this thing is a beast. I also used this as a rod holder while on the beach and I caught a 6 foot black tip shark. Overall, I'm very pleased with this item and I would recommend to a friend.
This is a substantial, well-made product at exactly the size I needed - smaller than many, and with sides that keep items secure. It was very easy to assemble, with all parts included and clearly sorted, and with all pieces manufactured to cleanly align. The item arrived promptly, packed to protect the shipment but without waste. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a high-quality cargo carrier.

Yakima EXO Swing Away Storage System w/ 2 Enclosed Cargo Carriers - 2" Hitches
Very interesting! I am pleased with this purchase. All of this equipment is well built and was designed with ease of use and security in mind. The hitch part is surprisingly pretty heavy, but once it is connected this weight gives the hitch a sturdy feel. The lockers are pretty big and the material though light weight feels like it will hold up to some rough miles and a few bruises. It is so nice to have this much dry secure and easy to access storage outside of our vehicle. Customer service was excellent and delivery times were surprisingly short.
Very easy to install. Total installation time (not counting taking photos and opening boxes) was approximately 15 minutes. The only issue I encountered was the left handle on the lower rack had a broken piece inside the locking pin assembly. Other than that, everything was quick and smooth for a single person job. This will greatly assist my business by allowing more room for passenger comfort on long trips to and from airports with a large party. Looking forward to putting this to use.

Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Black Glossy
I was hesitant to spend this much money on a cargo box that won't get used but a couple of times per year but I'm glad I did!! The quality of this box is excellent and it is really, really easy to mount. It is a bit awkward to carry for one person but with the help of another person it's very easy to carry and put on top of the car. The gloss black looks really nice and sleek. The 16 cubic foot capacity really opens up space inside our car and will make longer road trips much more manageable and comfortable. Being able to load the box from either side is a game changer! I also really like how it locks and how it has a notification if all latches are not engaged. As of writing this review, I have not actually tested it loaded or at highway speeds but I'm very confident it will perform as expected. Now I have to figure out how to store it!!
Came broken and obviously used already. Just like everything else in my order. Top was scraped up and cling wrap removed. Which I could have lived with. The front right hung was completely snapped off. Which for safety reasons is a big deal. So disappointed with etrailers quality for this order.

Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box - 22 cu ft - Titan Glossy
Extremely easy to mount. Very durable. Being able to open the cargo box from either side is a game changer. Superb quality.
Bought this a year ago and have been very happy with it. Using on a QX80/Armada. Opens on either side - which is nice when securing to roof rails as it is easier to just go to other side than reach across when tightening to roof rails. Easy to secure. Recommend two people to lift on/off vehicle but otherwise can do everything myself. Has lock on both sides. We can fit 4-6 carry on suitcases plus 2-4 other bags/items. It’s “taller” than it appears, but I don’t hear extra road noise and haven’t noted any significant change in fuel efficiency. Have used 4-5 times for trips from Ohio to Florida, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. In fact, drove 12 hours with it full yesterday.

GearSpace 34 Enclosed Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitch - Slide Out - 34 cu ft - 300 lbs - Dark Gray
We looked all over for a hardshell storage pod, one that would fit 300 pounds of embroidery hardware. This one from Gearspace fit the bill. Super easy checkout with etrailer.com, and they were the only ones to offer free shipping, and since this is a larger, heavier item, that means LTL Freight. Not [online vendor] and not the Mfg. The GearSpace 34 arrived earlier than promised, and it was an easy unload if you have room for a sixty foot tractor trailer. 190 lbs on a pallet, but it will load right into the back of a pickup real easy. Took about 30 minutes to install, and it went like a breeze. Light test, check... signals, check. Ready to roll on our next RV trip, with lots more room for goodies along the way. This item gets an A+, it works as advertised, and etrailer.com was GREAT. They communicate often and update on order status. even sent out an email to get customer feedback and review, along with some pictures. I'm sure after this stellar review they will send me a nice etrailer hat & Koozie Pictures show the Gearspace 34 loaded with about 200 lbs right now. It never moved an inch and is solid on the mounting hitch hardware. You will not be disappointed with this product, it's top of the line for RV rear storage.
The gear space was delivered assembled; it took m15 minutes to attach mount into receiver and secure. My wife and I were able to lift onto mount with no problems. Looks great on the back of our Renegafe Vienna. An excellent solution to additional storage for full time Rv.

Thule Motion XT Alpine Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Black Glossy
Great customer service and great product. Thank you !
This roof box is very sleek in design and I love how low it sits. Everything is wonderful with it; it can fit all my camping gear despite being a slimmer model. I gave it four stars because one of the powerclick clamps that it came with fell apart only after 3 uses and now i’m going to have to drop another $70+ for a replacement. Other than that, I would recommend this item.

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 47" Long x 35" Wide - 165 lbs
Greetings, I am giving these items 3? Because I was offered alternative products that did not fit together. Originally, I intended to purchase a roof rack cargo basket type and a spare tire holder from Yakima manufacturer that go well together, but one of them wasn’t in stock. So, after 3 weeks waiting time, I was offered alternative items via etrailer website, and I accepted them…after all, they are the experts. I got the recommended items through UPS, then I assembled them by myself. The roof rack cargo basket fit well on my car, but the spare tire holder was not compatible with the roof rack cargo basket. They couldn’t be assembled together. I submitted my claim to return the spare tire holder. Now, I have not achieved my goal to carry my spare tire. Understanding the needs and expectations of your customers is critical to maximize customer satisfaction. I am sure both products are good, but they are not compatible together, even though they were manufactured by the same company. Distributors should know better! I returned one item and I hope to be refunded.
Great product. Easily puts together and I was able to install on our 2016 Toyota Highlander OEM roof rails with no problems. The mounting brackets slide to make for a easy fit. Have taken it on two long road trips with zero issues last summer one to the montains and one to the beach. Was able to fit our jogging stroller on in the basket. Had some heavy rain on one trip and seen no signs of water getting into the rails as that was a concern of mine when researching the different racks. The high sides allowed for easy tie downs for the weather bag we put the stroller in. Seemed to add a little road noise with nothing in it but that is to be expected when hauling things on the roof but the wind deflector seemed to keep the noise down. Easy to put on and off with a single person able to lift it. Great product, great fit for the car. Plan on using it for some more upcoming trips.

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. Today we are taking a look at our Thule Motion XT Extra Extra Large Rooftop Cargo Box and seeing how it fits here on our large 2011 GMC Yukon. This is a big vehicle with a lot of cargo space, but sometimes even that is not enough or maybe you need to carry around some things that you don't want on the interior of your vehicle, like your skis and your snowboards. That's where the Thule Motion XT comes in handy. This is gonna be one of the biggest rooftop boxes available here at etrailer, and I did do a full review video explaining the different features of this box. Today we are gonna focus on how it fits on our Yukon, some things to look out for and some measurements to keep in mind.
Yakima GrandTour 18 Cubic Ft Premium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2011 GMC Yukon
Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer, and today we have the Yakima GrandTour 18 cubic feet rooftop cargo box. We'll take a look at how it fits our 2011 GMC Yukon. Your Yukon is a big vehicle with a lot of cargo space. But depending on your different adventures, if you have this loaded up with friends, with family, and you're also carrying around cargo that might not fit in the leftover cargo space, you might need more cargo space, or you're carrying around things like skis and snowboards that need a longer box for it to fit in, then a rooftop cargo box like the GrandTour can come in handy. This is gonna be a longer, more low-profile, sleek box, ideal for that longer cargo, and we'll talk about how it fits this car. This is going to be a 91-inch long box which is definitely on the longer side for rooftop boxes.
Yakima SkyBox NX 18 Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2011 GMC Yukon
Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at how the Yakima Sky Box NX18 roof cargo box fits on our 2011 GMC Yukon. The NX18 is a good pairing for the Yukon because it's a big box for a big car. So this is very versatile where you have a lot of height for larger bags and suitcases. We also have a lot of length for your longer skis. With this being the 18, it's a larger box in the Sky Box NX series and it's a good fit for the Yukon as well with the length because I didn't have to do anything special but we still have clearance with the back hatch and a lot of space up front.

Today on this 2010 GMC Yukon, we're going to be test fitting the 23 x 47 Carpod Walled Cargo Carrier, part number M2205. This cargo carrier has a carrying capacity of 450 pounds. It has this grated area and walls, which makes it easy to clean, and it keeps all your items safely secured inside these 4 walls. Now, I'm going to go ahead and give you some quick measurements here. As far as the height of the walls is concerned, that's going to be about 22 inches from the grated floor here. Measuring from the bumper to this edge here, we've added about 35-1/2 inches or so. Then, from this point here to the ground, it's going to be about 27-1/2 inches, and as far as our closest point, which will be the edge here, that's going to be about 13 inches from the bumper. Now, the exhaust is going to be on the passenger side and face away from the cargo carrier, so you don't have to worry too much about any heat-sensitive material when you're hauling it.
