This is the Firestone Air Command Wireless Compressor System and it's going to let you make those changes wirelessly, kinda on the fly. And we're gonna be showing you how to install it on our 2021 Chevy Silverado 3500. There's a lot of compressor systems out on the market and I always like to recommend one that is wireless like this one here and that's because with these newer trucks, you just don't have a good place to put all the old school traditional-style analog gauges. Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Pollak in-bed seven-pole wiring on a 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500. Now this is gonna be a really great addition if you have a fifth wheel or gooseneck. And when you plug in your trailer, instead of having to drape it over your tailgate, you'll have this wiring right in your bed, making it super easy, and it keeps all your cords inside of the bed as you're going down the road. Now this obviously you have to have a factory seven way to be able to tie into that. It's really just a jumper harness, but it makes it super convenient. It's gonna give you all the same functions as you would your normal seven poles. more

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Demco Premier Series Above-Bed Base Rail Kit with custom installation kit for fifth wheels on the 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500. The Demco Base Rails are gonna be a great addition to any truck that requires a fifth wheel or if you're having some adventures coming along where you need that fifth wheel. Having base rails means that you can drop in just about any brand. These follow an ISR standard, which is gonna be the basic spacing to be able to drop a base of a fifth wheel in. And kind of the great thing about these is you can still remove your fifth wheel from the bed and that way when you still need to use a truck for truck things, you really don't take up a whole lot of space here. You just have a little bit of raising here on the bed, just where the rails are. more

B and W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 3500- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look at the B&W Patriot sliding fifth wheel in a 2020 Chevy Silverado 3500. Something that I recommend to every person that is towing a fifth wheel with a short bed or not a long bed truck is going to be a sliding fifth wheel. There's other ways around, you know, preventing cab corners from getting crushed, you can get a movable pin box and that's gonna help a little bit, but this is a great way, if you're having to navigate in some really tight turns, to have that ability to be able to slide this back, give you that clearance to make that turn, and then you can hit the road after that. Otherwise, you are gonna be stuck with just kind of smaller angles than normal, otherwise you run the risk of damaging your truck. So this is a nice easy way to make that short bed still be able to tow a fifth wheel with no problem. Operate the slide function super easy on here. more

Now this kit is going to include your gooseneck ball, your two safety chain loop attachments, and a plug for whenever you're not using your gooseneck ball. If you want to throw this in there, you can do that. It's also going to come with this nice carrying case, so whenever you're not using it you can put all these components safely into the case, throw it in the back of your truck so you don't have to worry about this stuff rolling around. Now, when it comes to the weight capacity of this particular kit we have installed, this is going to have a 30,000 pound capacity. more

So major things about the Reese Cargo carrier with this truck is that if you have a two and a half inch hitch like what we have here, you are gonna need a separate hitch reducer in order to fit the two inch shank of our cargo carrier. And if you're looking for a cargo carrier where you can still lower your tailgates and have a platform that is easier to reach compared to your truck bed, then this might be a good option for you. Hey everybody, Ryan here at e-trailer, today on our 2016 Chevy Silverado 3500 we're gonna be showing you how to install the Torklift frame mounted camper tie-downs for the front. But before we do that, let's take a minute check these out and make sure they're gonna work for you. If you're wanting to use an in bed camper, you're gonna need a way to secure it down, and these are gonna be a great option to give you a secure connection point, that way you're able to hook your turn buckles up to it, and run it up to your in bed camper. I do wanna mention though, you know you're gonna want all four corners secured. So this set here is just for the front, so you get one over here and on the other side, you can always pick up the rear as well. And a lot of times you're able to kind of pick 'em up as a whole set, so just wanted to throw that out there And something I highly advise too, definitely pay attention to this, and that is what style of truck you have. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we have a 2023 Chevy Silverado 3500, and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Firestone Ride-Rite Airbags. There's a lot of different reasons why you might be wanting to add a set of airbags to your truck. The specific reason we have here is our driver here is a hotshot driver, which means he just delivers small LTL loads for different companies and stuff. So he's pulling a 50-foot gooseneck trailer and he needs support in the rear end of his truck. The factory suspension, even though this is a 3500, they do come pretty stiff, but once you get closer to that max capacity to the truck, the back end of the truck starts to sag pretty good. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Chevy Silverado 3500 and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Air Lift WirelessONE air compressor. Pairing an air compressor with a set of airbags on your truck is gonna be the best thing you can do for yourself. I personally have owned a truck that had airbags on it and did not have an onboard air compressor, and I can tell you using the airbags was a pain in the butt. You have to go to a gas station or find an air pump to be able to air up your bags when you're hauling a load. And a lot of times I would do side jobs, landscape jobs, for different people that I knew and I would either have to decide do I want to put 70 pounds in my bags and be incredibly uncomfortable driving to my destination to pick up a load of rock, or do I want to drive there, pick up the rock, and then figure out to find a place to be able to air up my bags. more

So right off the bat, you go to get in your truck, it's gonna be a nice, large space to put your foot. I have a size 13 boot, which a boot is typically a little bit larger in size than a typical tennis shoe or a sandal. So you can see there is more than enough space, about six inches extra past my boot, to be able to put your foot on that, get up in your truck nice and safely. more

Today we have a 2023 Chevy Silverado 3,500 and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver. A few reasons of why people install front mount hitches on their trucks is you may wanna haul a bike rack on the front or a cargo carrier, maybe a front mount winch or something that might surprise you is even a snowplow on the front. Now as far as weight capacity goes for this hitch you're gonna have a 500 pound max tongue weight capacity which is the downward pressure on the inside of the receiver tube. This comes in handy if you are using those bike racks or cargo carriers. You wanna be sure to not overload the front mount hitch. more

Today we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you some of the features on the Curt In-Bed Gooseneck Kit for your OEM Puck System on your 2023 Chevy 3500. The kit is gonna come with what you see here and a carrying case. You'll have your two safety chain loops that simply twist into your puck system, they'll lock into place using these pins, and when you're not using 'em, flip this snapper pin back, pull the pin up, twist it, pull 'em out, and set 'em inside your carrying case for safe travel. Curt Fifth Wheel Kit Installation - 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500- Video
Hello, neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the CURT Custom-Fit Fifth Wheel Rails on a 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500. The rails are gonna make it to where you can drop in a number of different manufacturer fifth wheels because it is an ISR standard rating, meaning that it uses pretty much uniform matching up to your fifth wheel. So just make sure it follows into that normal standardization, and you're gonna be able to drop this in. So whether you're using the sliding, like today we have our CURT R20, which is really nice, it's got the carbide black that matches the rails, which is kinda cool. more

Hey, everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs here on a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. Adding air helper springs here to your Silverado is gonna be an excellent option, because what it's gonna do is it's gonna provide some rear-end support when we're towing and hauling those heavy loads. So if we don't add any suspension enhancements to our truck here and we couple that really heavy trailer or we're throwing a ton of weight in our truck bed, what that's gonna do is it's going to sag the rear of the truck and it's gonna bring the front end of the truck up. Now that not only looks kind of goofy, that's actually gonna have drastic effects on our overall towing experience and the handling and performance of our truck. So one of the major things that people don't realize is a lot of our braking force comes from the front axle, and that braking force relies on the weight over the axle to help the truck come to a stop. So when we take the weight off the front axle and transfer it to the rear we're gonna be drastically reducing our braking power. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at eTrailer and today, we're taking a look at the Curt Adaptor Rails for 5th Wheels. Now, this is gonna work for the OEM prep package that we have here on our 2023 Chevy Silverado 3500. The puck system or OEM prep package, as they call it that a lot of newer trucks are seeing are really nice because you can simply drop in a 5th Wheel, but, if you already have a 5th Wheel and it's not compatible, it's normally in a rail system. Well, you can pick up this adapter to make that fifth wheel head work. Now, these are standard rails as far as the industry goes so it's gonna work with most 5th Wheel heads. The only one that really has compatibility issues, is gonna be the BMW Sliding Companion and that's just because of the clearance as it slides. more

Now, today we have our fifth wheel mounted onto some BMW rails, but not to worry, you can actually pick up any rails that are going to be the standard size and this will drop into it. Now if you're interested in picking up a set of rails to mount up a fifth wheel we have plenty of options here as well as an install video on this particular rail kit. Now this fifth wheel is rated at 18,000 pounds so it's pretty heavy duty. So for a dually like this this is gonna be a good match for it. You're gonna be able to hook up to some pretty heavy trailers or campers and tow them around easily. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Pollack 7-way in bed wiring for gooseneck and fifth wheels on a 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500. And attaching your fifth wheel or your gooseneck trailer. You do need to plug it into your 7-way just so you get your lights as well as your brakes. But a lot of times you're having to drape that wire over the tailgate. So having this in the bed keeps it nice and protected and clean, easily able to plug in as well and maintain all your factory functions. Now, it just ties into your factory connector. more

Hi everyone, Aiden here with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Yakima OverHaul HD adjustable truck bed ladder rack system here on our 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. Now, what makes this unique is that this ladder rack is designed to be used in tandem with select tonneau covers. We've got ours working with our RetraxPro XR hard tonneau cover here today. Hello, neighbors, it's Brad, here at etrailer. And today, we're taking a look and installing the EcoHitch Front Hitch on a 2022 Chevy Silverado 3500. Now this is what the front hitch is gonna look like when it's installed. And it does require some trimming to get this nice, clean look, but really it sits really well on the front bumper. And the recommendations as far as cutting goes, they've done a fine job of really making this nice and clean and you still have the air dam that goes under. So it looks really factory almost and it protrudes just a little bit, but just enough to be able to get your accessories in without looking to unsightly. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Curt Pop in Gooseneck Hitch Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit here for a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3,500. So this is everything we're going to get with our kit here starting out with the carrying case. So the carrying case is a nice heavy duty plastic here and you can see everything is molded to the shape of our component. So it's gonna fit in there nicely. It's not gonna be rattling around and when we're not using everything we're gonna keep this inside the vehicle. So everything's there. more

Hey everyone, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Reese Elite Series Pop-In Gooseneck Hitch Ball Kit here on a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. So this is everything our kit is going to come with, starting with the bag here, so this is a really nice carrying case, you can see we have some handles on here, and this is gonna fit all the components you see here inside this bag. Now, this is a nice, soft padded case, it doesn't take up a ton of space, so it's great to store inside your vehicle, so you have everything there when you need it. Next, we have our little rubber plug here, so this is gonna go into the gooseneck opening here of the trailer hitch on our truck, and it's gonna protect the gooseneck opening from any dirt, debris, contaminants getting in there, possibly messing up the mechanism. Next, on the outside here, we have our safety chain loop, so these are gonna be required by law to attach your safety chains to the truck, and these are basically just gonna provide a nice, wide opening there for your clevis hooks. They have a nice black powder coated finish as well, so it's gonna protect them from rust and corrosion, 'cause these things are made out of metal. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today, we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Reese M5 Fifth Wheel trailer hitch here on a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. So this is what our fifth wheel hitch is gonna look like in our truck bed here. And you can see everything has a nice black powder coated finished which is gonna help protect the metal underneath from rust and corrosion. It's also gonna give it a nice aesthetic value along with the blue accents you can see throughout. So one of the standout features of this fifth wheel hitch is going to be the jaw design.
