This was odd to install because I didn't have a solid surface to mount the disk piece onto. I had to use silicone to get it to stay on because the screws just wouldn't bite. The price is too high for a part made of plastic, so I'm not sure how long it will last, and it doens't hold the camper door open very well. Heading out on a long trip in a few days so I'll have some practical application to report.
After installing this magnetic door holder on my RV I found that it didn’t have the required strength to keep my door open with any gentle breeze. I would not recommend this product.
Had the part I needed, shipped very quickly. I had the part in just a few days. Was given tracking, communication was great.

Works great for my interior closet door to hold it open while I am hanging shirts. Before installing this holder the door would have a tendency to swing closed.
Product came in on time. Seemed good quality. Fair price for this item.
However, one year later, the item has snapped. We don't have any kids or other factors to put any constant strain on it. For the price, it was a good replacement. Just be aware it will need to be replaced around that 1 year mark if you are a full time RVer.

I broke the bathroom door stop on my 2023 Thor Fourwinds 31w motor home, this is an exact replacement for this. Only difference was that the original had recessed screw heads, which I just touched this with a drill bit and it worked perfectly.
We are new to the RV world. We didn't secure the pocket door properly and when we stopped after traveling 300 miles, the door had come off the track and snapped the door stop off. The old standby Amazon did not carry it. Found Etrailer.com during a Google search. It is now book marked and I will go Etrailer for all my replacement parts needs. The new door holder fit right in the old holes and works like a charm!
My only issue was with shipping. 7 days is not realistic for delivery. Shout out to Kate in customer service. Very personable and helpful!

This is exactly like the one I’ve replaced already. It appears to be heavy duty, and I try to be careful not to open the bath door too quickly, but it keeps breaking.
I’ll probably just buy a couple next time.

Absolutely the best replacement for my RV door. Before, it was pain to hook the plastic tab to the door. Most of the time it wouldn’t hold. Now I open the door and the magnetic goes to work. Door stays open even in fairly windy conditions.
I was searching the web for a replacement door stop for my Rockwood 5th wheel and some items came up but they were slightly different from a direct replacement. Then I finally found this etrailer magnetic door stop which was an exact match to what I needed. I'm not to happy about the design and materials but I wasn't looking to improve the part, just duplicate part and that's what this is. Great service, Quick shipping, thank you etrailer.
So much better than the latching type. The magnet is strong enough to hold the door open even in a stiff breeze at the coast. It takes longer to plan your placement than it does to actually install it. And of course the usual easy ordering and shipping from e-trailer.
Allowed me to put my golf cart in the back of my truck with the tailgate down and still pull my camper.

Great product!! Works great in our motorhome and is reassuring knowing the door will not close on short moves. Would still highly recommend this product and vendor!!
