This is going to replace a worn out or damaged strike plate on your RV door lock. This will work with the Bauer products' RV door locks, BP-7, BP-8D, BP-8RV, and NE series. This is an exact replacement from Bauer, so you can trust it's going to work for your application; you're not going to have to worry about compatibility issues or anything along those lines. Looking at about 1 1/8" wide. This is a zinc plated steel construction, so it's going to resist corrosion, hold up well for you, do a good job, allowing you to have that complete set again for your RV door lock. Strike plate is the same as the original one that came on our horse trailer. You can install it two different ways to fit your door latch. The price was good considering what our economy is going through now. Shipping and delivery was less than a week.

Exact replacement
Used this on a 2021 Geo Pro with a Bauer keypad lock installed from factory. I had previously modified the original strike plate to make it work, but I apparently weakened it, and it broke while I was attempting an adjustment to make the door close easier. This Bauer strike plate replaced the original fine, but I had to grind a little off edge of the door frame hole to get it to the correct position. The quality of the plate was good, and my door now works perfectly!

The door still works fine.
This door latch replacement fit my 2002 Jayco Eagle entry door perfectly.
I think they should add a dollar to the price and include the 2 small mounting screws.

The Replacement Strike Plate is still working as good as it did when we installed it a year ago!
Works very well. Must modify the actual housing and the trailer with the hammer.

Perfect fit for my 18.5 foot Stealth Trailer Side Door Latch. Matched with the factory part perfectly.
Our 2008 Jayco Seneca takes a lot of abuse. The side door sees a lot of traffic on race weekends and I had to replace the main door latch with this one. After a year and many race trips with kids (and adults) constantly slamming my door, this latch has held up well and is still perfect.

3 or average means I got the item I needed, it was reasonable priced and shipping was reasonable with the market.
The strike plate did not have the opening for the lock and latch I needed. Looked to be a fine product but not really what I needed.
In future product displays should include measurements of the opening as well. Would have been most helpful.
