Can MaxxFan RV Roof Vent Work with Lithium Batteries

Question:

Hello - I have been hearing that the MAXXAIR Deluxe Fan may not work with 12 volt lithium battery charging system because the batteries are charged at a higher voltage around 14.4 volts and this can cause the control board to fail on the fan at this high voltage. Is this information true and could this be for the older models and not the newer ones? I sure hope you can answer this question for me. Thanks so much.

Great question but the current MaxxFan roof vents like part # MA00-06401K can be used with lithium batteries. There was an issue with the older models of the MaxxFans but they went to a different circuit board that can handle the higher voltage for this exact reason.
