Can the Curt Stabilizer Strap Be Attached Lower to Accommodate Glass Hatchbacks
Question:
I bought the curt 1.25 bike hitch and it came with this part. The problem is Im worried about attaching this to my hatchback since it is glass. Does Curt make a support strap for hatchbacks?

You might have to get a little creative with how you install the Curt Stabilizer Strap # 18050 since you have a glass hatchback. We have seen people attach the hook end to the bottom lip of the hatch back since this is metal. This would require the strap attach to the bike rack lower than usual as well.
