Replacement Part for MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent That Won't Open All the Way
Question:
Max Ir Vent Rain Sensor. We have the above fan. When we use remote to open the fan engages and the lid tries to go up but only so far and then drops down again. It tries about three times then stops! Any help please, the heat and humidity is bad atm! We love these fans. The fan it self is about 4.5 years old!

It sounds like you have a faulty operator mechanism on your MaxxFan Plus Roof Vent # MA00-04500K, and fortunately that's a replaceable part.
What you need is the Replacement Operator Mechanism for MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus or MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vents # MA10-20281K-1AF and you'll be set.
