Question:
Hi eTrailer, Whats the best way to extend my Mirrors for Towing? Is there a custom fit mirror available? If no custom fit mirror then what is the best universal mirror that has been tested on a 2004 Ford Explorer XLt. Thanks

The only towing mirror options we have for your 2004 Ford Explorer are a universal fit. Unfortunately we have not had a chance to confirm fitment yet but your best option would be to use the K-Source Universal Towing Mirror part # KS3891. As long as your factory side mirrors are between 4-1/2" to 11-1/2" tall then they will work for you.
The extra-large towing mirror mounts on either of your factory side mirrors to extend your line of sight. They have a manually adjustable mirror face that allows you to customize your view and offer a easy to use tool free installation.
I have attached a review and test course video of these mirrors on a similar vehicle for you.
