Question:
can I use the ring assembly on front of this vehicle to attack to my tow bar with an adapter?

For a 2014 Silverado, the exact base plate assembly you need will depend on whether your truck is a 1500, 2500 or 3500 series. For a 1500 series, you'd want to use the Roadmaster # RM-3176-1. For a 2500 or 3500 series w/ tow hooks, use # 3167-1.
I'm not sure what you meant by 'ring assembly'. The base plates bolt to the front of the truck frame assembly, and consist of a receiver and a drawbar. The drawbars are removable, and are meant to attach to the tow bar quick disconnect, which attaches to the tow bar.
