How long is the fixed end length?

I went out to the warehouse and pulled a Snap-Loc E-Track Tie-Down Strap # SLLS28CER to measure the fixed end. The overall length is 9-1/2 inches.
If measuring from the end of the buckle though it is shorter, measuring about 8-3/4 inches long.
