Question:
I have a 2006 Ford F-350 with a factory brake controller. Will the Tekonsha P-3 just plug in and replace it or is there more involved. Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
To install a Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller part # 90195 in your 2006 Ford F-350 you will use the wiring harness # 3065-P.
The harness will plug it into the factory plug after disconnecting it from the factory controller, and then taking the truck to a dealership to clear the fault code that will appear. I have included a link to a Tech Bulletin that explains what they do at the dealer to clear the fault code.
