Published 02/25/2010 >
Question:
I purchased this for my 2009 jeep liberty. Watched the video but when i go the part the instructions called for a black wire to be installed from the battery to the t-one. That wasnt in the video. Is this optional or was it just not included in the video?

The video you watched shows the installation of a different part # on a different model year Jeep Liberty. For the 2009 model, running the power feed to the battery is necessary so that the voltage required for illuminating the trailer lights is drawn directly from the battery.
