Question:

Ladies and Gents Would like to confirm that hitch #Code: C13172 will fit the basic Jeep Sport 4 Cylinder. We are looking for a hitch that is close to hidden with just receiver opening showing Hitch capacity can be quite a bit lower, just for small utility trailer. Please advise Thank You

Curt trailer hitch # C13172 will fit your 2014 Jeep Cherokee and is about as hidden as you can get. Only the receiver is visible. I have included a link to a video showing installation so you can see just how hidden it is.

The capacity as you have noted is more than enough for a small utility trailer.

Since you plan on doing some towing I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. For trailer wiring use # 118605. I have included a link to a video showing how the wiring installs as well.
