A 5 pole round connector is really rare, with the 7-way, 6-way and 4-pole flat being the most common. Most trucks that come with an OEM trailer connector will come with a 7-way. A 6-way is sometimes found on horse trailers, and a 4-pole is the basic connector used for smaller trailers that supplies lighting circuits only. I've edited a photo for you showing an example of the plug and socket (or trailer and vehicle ends) of each of these connectors.
I'd recommend fitting your truck out with part # HM40975, which will provide a 7-way and a 4-pole connector, which are the two most common connectors. The # HM40975 is a plug-and-play installation as shown in the video I've linked you to. If you needed a 6-way connector, you could simply install the 7-way, then use an adapter like # 47549.
If you actually DO have a 5 pole round connector, you'd be best off removing the connector from the trailer, and replacing it with a 7-way trailer side plug like part # A7WCB. The Trailer Wiring article I've linked you to shows how the 7-way plug should be wired.
