Comparing etrailer Brand And Durabilt Brand Chain Binders
Updated 11/05/2026 | Published 11/04/2026 >
Question:
I see etrailer stocks these binders, as well as durabuilt binders that look identical to the original Peerless Quickbinder. Can you comment on the build quality and ease of use between all these? They look identical save for different color coating and vinyl.

Hey Brady, thanks for reaching out. In my experience, the etrailer and Durabilt ratchet binders are virtually identical when it comes to build quality and ease of use. Both are heavy-duty, well-built options that operate the same way, so I really don't see a major advantage to one over the other.
I'd feel confident recommending either brand. As long as you're comparing binders with the same chain compatibility and working load limit, I'd go with whichever one offers the better price. Both will get the job done!
What equipment will you be strapping down?
