It sure will Ernest and welcome back. The Malone Channel Loader Kayak Load Assist item # MAL48FR is going to attach directly to your Jeep's rear glass with two suction cups. This will allow you to easily load your kayak from the ground onto your Jeep's roof by yourself. It uses a roller similar to a boat trailer to roll the kayak up onto your crossbars.

The Malone item # MAL48FR load assist works with saddle-style kayak carriers. To add one, I recommend the Yakima SweetRoll Kayak Carrier # Y04074. It will fit so long as you have crossbars that measure no more than 3-1/2" x 1-11/16" and you have a usable spread of at least 24". The cradles on the SweetRoll Carrier item # Y04074 have integrated rollers on the rear to help ease loading your kayak as well as rubber pads which offer your kayaks protection from being damaged.

@ErnestP Ernest, I bought the Malone Kayak loader for use on a Volkwagen Tiguan or on a Volvo V60. The loader works like a champ. I am 78 years old and loading our kyaks became so much easier. I can do it alone, and my wife is happy since her lifting abilities have certainly diminished. Even though your Jeep Wrangler has a more square back (more vertical) window, I am sure the Malone kayak loader will work

Honestly, I’ve only used mine once. I got it to use with my 12 foot (48 pounds) Wilderness Systems Tsunami 120. It works great with the heavier Tsunami but I use my Perception Sunrise 10 (38 pounds) most of the time. It’s much easier to load 38 pounds by using two door mats on the van roof to slide it onto to the roof rack. The Malone Channel loader attaches well to the window on my Pacifica van and makes loading the kayak very easy but it takes more time to connect it than putting the door mats on the roof. So as I get older (I’m 80) and struggle to lift the 38 pounder, I’ll probably use the loader more. I recommend this product! It’s well made and easy to use!
