Question:
my old rims 15X 6 lug on 5 1/2 center spacing, but my pilot hole is roughly 3 1/2 inches, maybe a little bigger. Will the 4.29 pilot hole be too large for my spindles. Are their spacers available?

Thanks for letting us help Robert. The larger pilot hole on the Dexstar Steel Mini Mod Trailer Wheel # AM20539 won't be an issue as long as your trailer uses lug centric wheels, which is the most common setup on trailers. With lug centric wheels, the wheel is centered and secured to the hub by the lug nuts rather than the center hole. That means having a larger pilot hole is perfectly fine as long as the bolt pattern, wheel capacity, and other fitment dimensions match your setup.
Hub centric wheels are a little different. These rely on a close fit between the wheel's center hole and the raised portion of the hub to properly center the wheel. In some applications, a hub centric ring can be used to accommodate a larger pilot hole, but that isn't always an option with trailer wheels.
An easy way to get a better idea of what you have is to look at how your existing wheels are secured. If your wheels use tapered or cone shaped lug nuts like the Americana Trailer Wheel Lug Nut # AM90049, you have a lug centric setup and the larger pilot hole on the # AM20539 isn't a concern.
If your wheels use wheel bolts that thread directly into the hub like # RG02-020, you likely have a hub centric setup and would need to go a different route.
Are you planning to replace just the wheels, or are you looking to replace the tires as well? We also carry the # AM20539 in a wheel and tire combination # KE44WV if you'd prefer to replace everything at once.
