24K Automatic Sliding Fifth Wheel Hitch for a 2027 Silverado 3500

Question:

I just bought a 2027 Chevy Silverado 3500 with the 6-3/4' bed and factory fifth wheel prep package. Our fifth wheel weighs around 22,000 lbs loaded, so I need something rated higher than 20K. I'd also prefer an automatic slider so I don't have to get out and move the hitch when backing into campsites. What would you recommend?

Thanks Robin! We have a Lippert Rhino pin box on our fifth wheel. Which capture plate would I need for that?

@Trevor I recommend the PullRite Quick Connect Capture Plate # PUL44ZR for your Lippert Rhino pin box. This works with the SuperGlide # PUL83RR and keeps the king pin from rotating in the hitch head so the automatic sliding mechanism operates properly.
