Hey Leon, the Curt Crosswing fifth wheel hitch can be made to fit the OEM pucks of your 2023 Ram 2500 but you would need to use an adapter as there isn't a direct fitting hitch. We have a kit that comes with the correct adapter and a Crosswing hitch with the part # C62NV. Will this work or were you looking for something that attaches directly.

While we liked the towing of the crosswind. We did not like the strain it puts on the front leveling legs specially when unhooking. It’s such a hard release. We recently bought a morryde goosetech gooseneck which we will be switching to

@AnnF makes sense! The Goosetech is really nice so you'll really like that.

The only thing I found good about this hitch is the weight. Hooking up is difficult and unhooking is dangerous and very difficult to do. I tried to get a refund and was denied.

We really like the CrossWing for its easy in and out of the truck. It is true that the hook-up and disconnect are the two most challenging aspects of it, especially with an automatic transmission. Y’know when you put it in park and there’s that little bit of roll that happens when you take your foot off the brake… yeah it’s kinda interesting when you lift the trailer and, >Bang< truck moves and hitch has jumped up out of the saddle by about 2-3 inches. That’s how you know you’re unhooked. Other than those two things, it tows great, swivels through turns and holds onto fifth wheel well. Oh and I can lift it out of the truck and carry it couple hundred feet with no one helping me. Try doing that with the other ones!

@Sid makes sense! From connecting to gooseneck trailers in past I found that the 2 to 3 inch movement changes depending on if you are coming out of drive or reverse. I can't remember which it was but if you want to be able to anticipate it going either direction I would try experimenting with going from drive to park and then reverse to park and see which direction the truck moves. You can also use your e-brake to hold it in place if needed as well. Maybe that's not really helpful but I've always wanted to share that with someone haha.
