Question:
I have a Forest River Sabre 36FLX with 7k Terrain axles. However the wheel studs are 9/16”. The only disc brake conversion kits I see with 9/16” studs come with new hubs, which I don’t want since my trailer is less than 2 years old. Does Deemax or another brand make a disc brake conversion kit for my application without having to buy new hubs? I only see kits with 1/2” wheel studs. Thank you.

Hey Dave! It sounds like you may already have idler hubs and you're looking for slip-on rotors so you can keep them. If that's the case, I recommend the DeeMaxx Disc Brake Kit # DE49YR. This uses 13" slip-on rotors with an 8 on 6-1/2" bolt pattern and works with 9/16" wheel studs. You'll need two kits for your tandem-axle Sabre.
To complete this setup, you'll also need the DeeMaxx Alpha G1600 Actuator # DE77SR and Tandem Axle Brake Line Kit # DE57SR for your conversion.
If you currently have electric drum brakes, you'll need to replace the hub and drum assemblies anyway. In that case, I recommend the DeeMaxx Disc Brake Kit # DE57NR instead. This is a complete kit with the brakes, brake lines, and EOH actuator so you will get everything under a single part number.
Where are you headed once you get the disc brakes installed?

Thx. I will need the complete DE57NR after all. Just looking at options if I purchased: 2 of the the hub/rotor DE68YR, Actuator DE77SR and line kit DE 57SR would I have everything I needed? It seems that it is a few hundred cheaper than buying the DE57NR complete kit. Also I have a 2025 Chevy Silverado 2500. Does it need an adapter to work with the stock brake controller? Thanks
