Small And Compact Snow Plow That Can Be Used In The Rear Hitch Of A 2025 Ford Ranger

Hi I have a 2025 Ford Ranger and am wanting a smallish plow for my driveway. I just moved up north and want to be prepared for snow. If there a plow I can use in the rear hitch of my truck? I dont really want to take the front of my new truck apart to put a hitch up there. Thanks in advance

Hi Eddy!

Since you are just wanting to plow your driveway with your 2025 Ranger, I recommend going with the Plowser Hitch-Mounted Residential Snow Plow w/ Storage Bag - 78" Folding Blade # PL62XR. This is very portable as it weighs only 66 pounds and comes with a storage bag and can be used in a rear hitch. The 78" wide blade offers very good coverage for the removal of snow and that blade is low-friction UHMW plastic, so it shouldn't get caught on everything like some of the more heavy duty options will.

The only thing you will want to check is your hitch height. Measuring from the ground to the center of the receiver opening, you want to make sure you are 11" to 19" tall.
