Is There Coleman Mach ChillGrille that Fits 2012 Navion 24j

Question:

Have 2012 Navion 24j with Coleman Mac 3 AC ducted system with heat pump It has the square AC ceiling filter. A pain! Is there a Coleman Chill grill that would replace that monster?

Hey Bob, could you provide the model number from your rooftop Coleman-Mach unit? It should be on a data label beneath the exterior shroud.

I'd also like to know whether your existing square ceiling assembly contains the A/C control box or is simply a return-air grille.

With those details, we can determine whether a ChillGrille can replace just the interior ceiling assembly while retaining your existing rooftop heat pump, wall thermostat, and ductwork. The only ChillGrille we have is the part # CM48GR which fits the newer units that use the U32 refrigerant.

A C is a 48058-876, and the control box is located up in the opening to the aft location

@B0bH Your rooftop heat pump appears compatible with the ChillGrille family, but we still need to verify the ceiling control and duct configuration. Could you send me a picture looking up into the ceiling opening showing the control box and where the ducts connect? That should help determine whether you can replace just the bulky ceiling grille while keeping your original thermostat, control box, and heat pump. email picture to me at [email protected]
