Thanks for all the information Dan and welcome back. I have a solution for you but the Dometic Soft Start item # DMC93JF only works with Brisk II systems that use a wall mounted thermostat. Since your air distribution box has the manual controls, you'll need the SoftStartRV Soft Start item # SSR54FR.
The SoftStartRV Soft Start for Single Zone Air Conditioner Setup item # SSR54FR is going to provide a comparable voltage boost by reducing startup draw by up to 70%. However, it will need to be hardwired into your Brisk II Evolution's wiring. There are no plug in options for your system.
What kind of RV do you have and how do you typically power it when you're camping? Feel free to answer this and throw in any other questions you have, where it says Add Comment.

It’s a 2022 Scamp 16, typically plugged into a 120v building outlet.
