Is There a Pop and Lock Tailgate Lock that Fits 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500 Long Bed Crew Cab

Question:
Hi, So, I see this says not for a crew cab with the 8 foot bed…which of course is what I’m looking at. Is this just a matter of extending the wiring harness to the tailgate- ie, it’s too short for that configuration? If so, I’m fine with extending it myself. This is for a 2015 Silverado 3500 HD. PAL8140

Hey Dirk, you are correct the issue is the length of the truck and the harness that comes with the kit but we have an easy solution. Instead you would want the part # PAL8140-PL9510 which comes with a harness extension so that it will be long enough for your 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500HD long bed crew cab. Is your truck ever difficult to park being that long?
