Pace Edwards Contractor Rig Rack Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Aluminum Part Number: 311-CR6008 I am trying to see if this would fit a 2026 GMC 3500Hd- crew cab-8 bed? Also, if it fits , can I add a middle support cross bar and 1 more strap per side?

The Pace Edwards Contractor Rig Rack # 311-CR6008 you were looking at is designed to work with the Pace Edwards BedLocker, JackRabbit, and Full Metal JackRabbit tonneau covers, so it isn't going to be the right option for your 2026 GMC Sierra 3500HD unless you have one of those covers.

The best aluminum rack I found for your truck is the Buyers Products Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack # 3371501400. This rack has an 800 lb capacity and is designed to carry longer loads over the cab of your truck. Installation involves securing the rack to your truck bed, and its aluminum construction helps keep the weight down while still providing plenty of strength.

They do not have an additional beam to add.

What are you planning on hauling that you need the extra support? That will help me to try to come up with a different option.
