Question:
I have this RV sewer hose: Camco RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose w Swivel Fittings, 4-in-1 Adapter, and Storage Caps - 15 Long that I purchased a long time ago. My new RV has two tanks. It it possible to replace the 90 degree end with a straight connector end so that I cannot it to a Y adapter then connect the Y to a 90 degree?

Thanks for reaching out Steven. The end fittings on your Camco RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose with Swivel Fittings and 4-in-1 Adapter # CAM39761 are designed to be removable and replaceable, so you can definitely reconfigure the hose for your new RV's dual-tank setup. To remove the existing 90-degree elbow, you'll want to twist the black locking ring at the end of the hose to loosen it, then unscrew the orange swivel fitting and elbow assembly from the hose. Once removed, you can install a straight fitting, such as the Valterra Rotating Adapter for Rigid RV Sewer Pipe # T1028, provided the connection style matches your setup. From there, you can connect to a Y-fitting like the Camco RhinoFLEX RV Sewer Hose Y-Fitting # CAM39812.
There are actually several ways to configure this connection, depending on whether you prefer bayonet fittings or a more permanent threaded connection.
Another option would be to use the # CAM39812 to connect the two sewer hoses coming from your RV's separate tank outlets, allowing them to feed into a single hose that runs to the campground sewer connection. Depending on your existing fittings, this may let you reuse more of your current RhinoFLEX components without making as many modifications.
Are you planning on running individual hoses to each tank or do you already have a gate valve style Y connection?
