Question:

Good afternoon, I have a thule 480R and a fit kit for a 2008 Honda Fit, unfortunately the 2008 got crunched. Im trying to set up my sisters 2019 Honda Fit with the 480r feet, but need the updated fit kit. Problem is, finding anything on Thules site is difficult. I think I need the 1751 fit kit, but am unsure. The 2008 kit the rubber and clamps are not right.

Hey Jason, thanks for reaching out. You are going to need a new fit kit plus a new set of roof rack feet. Thule doesn't offer a fit kit for the 2019 Honda Fit that goes with the 480R Traverse foot pack. All of the fit kits they offer for that vehicle are for the Evo Clamp or Edge Clamp feet. The fit kit and feet you need are the following:

- Fit Kit for Thule Evo Clamp and Edge Clamp Roof Rack Feet - 5285 # TH28MC

- Evo Clamp Feet for Thule Crossbars - Naked Roofs - Qty 4 # TH710501

You may be able to re use your crossbars. Thule recommends a 47" bar # TH711200 for the 2019 Honda Fit, so those may be able to be re used depending what length you have.

What length are your crossbars?
