Hi Joe!
Yes, technically the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Rails and Universal Installation Kit, part # C16116, will work on your 2014 GMC Sierra 2500 HD. Since it uses universal brackets, though, some drilling is required during installation.
I would recommend going with the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC, part # C78WV, instead. It includes custom fit brackets for your truck, so you can avoid the additional drilling and make the installation much easier.
What fifth-wheel are you towing?

I installed this kit on my 2010 f150 short bed and it works great. I’ve used it to tow a 26 ft 5th wheel down the east coast. You have to drill holes in the frame to properly mount it. The instructions are good that come with it. Make sure when you lineup mounting it that it’s properly over the axle for weight distribution. You have to take care and be patient utilizing the steel string they give you in the kit to fish the bolts in the frame to bolt it up. I would recommend doing the drilling and install in a garage. Good luck and I hope you get it installed without any issues.
