Trailer Hitch Options for a 2024 Toyota RAV4

I have a Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4 ITEM 36643 Will it fit a 2024 Toyota RAV4?

Hi Jose, no, the Draw Tite hitch 36643 will not fit your 2024 Toyota RAV4. That hitch is designed for certain Toyota Camry models, which have very different mounting points.
For your RAV4, you need the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # C77MJ. I really like this Curt hitch because the cross tube tucks up behind the bumper for a clean, factory style look instead of having a bulky bar hanging down. The open back of the receiver also makes it easier to clear out dirt and road debris, which is a nice touch if you’re using the hitch regularly.
What are you planning to use the hitch for, a bike rack or towing? I can also recommend the right wiring if you’ll be towing.

Mounted this hitch on a Lexus NX 450h+. On that vehicle it is a bit more complex because of the exhaust routing. It works/fits fine but you need to do a bit of forming of the exhaust shield to get things in place. Can’t comment of the RAV4 mounting but tech I had help install on the Lexus had mounted one on the RAV4 WNG noted it was easy to do.
