How To Determine Hatch Clearance With Thule Force 3 XL

Question:
Hello, I have a Subaru Crosstrek 2023 with Thule Evo crossbars. I was wondering if you know if the Thule Force 3 XL would fit my car and clear the hatch door when fully open ? Thank you, Guillaume.

Hey Guillaume! The Thule Force 3 XL Roof Box # TH87SA will fit the Thule Evo crossbars on your 2023 Subaru Crosstrek. However, to determine if it will clear the rear hatch you will have to measure.
Start at the center of your front crossbar and measure straight back to the point where the roof meets the hatch. As long as this is at least 53" (R Min in the chart below) you will be able to fully open the hatch with it installed.
