Do The Thomas Payne Jacknife Sofas Come In A 60" Width?

Question:

I just bought 2026 Grand Design Imagine Aim 16MLA and I would love to switch out the jackknife sofa that I have on my trailer. When I measured it, it is 60 wide but your jackknife sofa comes with 62 wide. Do you have one that i can replace it on my trailer or can you make me one that is 60 wide? Thank you so much!

Hey Eric, thanks for reaching out. The Thomas Payne jackknife sofas do not come in a 60" width. The one you are looking at, # TP54AR, is 62" wide, and the next size down is the 56" Thomas Payne Jackknife Sofa # TP26KR. Unfortunately, there is not a way to shorten the 62" model or custom order one at exactly 60".

With only 60" of available space, I would go with the 56" model rather than trying to squeeze the 62" sofa into that opening. That gives you about 2" of clearance on each side, so you are not rubbing the walls or trim every time the sofa is opened and closed. I also recommend measuring the actual wall-to-wall opening at the narrowest point and checking for trim, outlets, or anything else that sticks into that space before ordering.
