Question:
I am looking for a wiring adapter to add trailer lights to my 1986 Ford F150. When I search on here the f150 does not go back prior to 1987. Can you help me find this part?

Hey Chuck, thanks for reaching out. We do have a trailer wiring harness you can use on your 1986 Ford F-150. For that I recommend the following:
- Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236
This is a universal harness that uses quick-splice connectors to tie into the vehicles tail light and brake light circuits. There aren't any custom plug-in wiring options for a 1986 F-150, so this universal harness is definitely the best option.
What kind of trailer will you be towing?
