Where Is The Brake Controller Port On A 2022 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock?

Question:

Have a 2022 ram warlock 1500 classic 4gen ds body style where is my after market brake controller 4 pin connector for plug and play my truck came equipped with tow pkg. is it behind the plastic panel where the right side clips in?

Hi Phil!

The plug for an aftermarket brake controller on your 2022 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock is going to be under the dash near the center console. The plug/wiring is typically taped to another harness, so it can be a little difficult to locate. I included an image showing where it will be. It should make it a little easier.

If you were also looking for recommendations for a brake controller, the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller w/ Custom Harness - Dash Knob - Off-Road Mode - Up to 3 Axles # RED35CR is my choice. Redarc currently makes the best brake controllers on the market. It also includes a pigtail that will plug right into that port under your dash, but you will need to drill a small hole in either the dash or a switch blank to mount the knob, but that will be the only visible part once done. I think it's well worth it.
