Hey Jay, this is a really great question but the official answer is the max wheelbase for the Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202 is 51.5 inch. The other number is an older number that was updated so that video is outdated. What is the wheelbase for your bike.

I have the Aventon Adventure 2 bikes with are big, and heavy, but the rack has handled them nicely. I had to order the longer wheel straps for the front tires , they have worked well, 2 bikes can be loaded and tied down in 5 minutes. The only thing I would say is a potential issue with this rack is that if you put it on a heavy duty truck with a 2 1/2 inch receiver and install an adapter sleeve in the receiver to reduce it to 2” the rack tightens up in the sleeve, but the locking pin just slides over and nothing locks it in place so the rack can just slide out with the reducer. I am not as worried about it being stolen as I am about hitting a bump and the pin releasing allowing the rack to slide out of the receiver while driving. I have used a bungee cord to hold the pin secured as an insurance policy against that worry. On a regular 2” or 1/14” this is not a problem. I love everything else about this rack.
