Hey Robert, it sounds like you are asking if you can mix and match different RV waste valves on your 2017 Coachmen Chaparral 5th wheel. The answer to that is yes you definitely can. What brands do you have now and are you also wanting to go with the Lasalle part # 34466N4AB36GM that you referenced?

I am unclear the scope of work you are trying to accomplish. If you do not need to replace the flanges then i would buy the same model valve you currently installed and only replace the the gate valve and seals. Based on you needs, you might opt to have a longer cable so you can mount the handle at a more convenient location. The Lasalle part I ordered from etrailer was the exact same one that was installed on my RV so I simply replaced the gatevalve seals and cable and it was an exact fit.

Hello Robert, As Jameson said, you can mix and match. I would recommend however, I recommend the valve that you have. If you don’t have to replace the flanges, then you can just change out the guts. It is much easier and less work. Respectfully, Wayne
